I am Hazim Hafis, a senior frontend developer at GrowthOps in Kuala Lumpur. The day job is banking, telco and insurance work — the kind that goes through compliance review and cannot afford to break. Freelance projects get the same standards, sized to a budget that makes sense for a small business.

The work

Small sites, taken seriously

I have been building for the web professionally since 2018, mostly in React, Vue and Angular. Most of that has been for large organisations, where an interface has to hold up under real traffic, real accessibility requirements and a review process that does not accept “it works on my machine”.

Small businesses rarely need that complexity, but they benefit from the habits it builds. A fast, accessible, maintainable site is not more expensive to make than a slow one. It is mostly a matter of knowing which decisions matter.

The packages on this site exist so you can see the shape of a project before we talk. A one-page starter site and a full online store are very different amounts of work, and pretending otherwise leads to the kind of quote that changes halfway through. If a cheaper package will do the job, I will say so.

    Static rendering, optimised images and a small JavaScript payload. Speed is a feature your visitors feel before they read a word.

  • Accessible, not just compliant

    Semantic markup, real keyboard support and honest colour contrast, held to the standard regulated clients ask for. It is the same work that makes a site rank and read well.

  • Yours to keep

    Your domain, your hosting, your repository. No proprietary builder you have to keep paying me to touch.

  • Plain language

    Scope, cost and timeline in words you can act on. If something is a bad idea for your budget, I will tell you before you spend it.

    We talk about the business before the website. What you sell, who buys it, and what the site actually needs to do. If a smaller package will do the job, I will say so.

    You get a written scope, a fixed price and a delivery date. No hourly surprises, no line items you did not agree to.

    Design and build

    I design in the browser and share a live preview link early, so you are reviewing the real thing rather than a picture of it.

    Launch and handover

    Deployment, analytics, and a walkthrough of how to update your own content. You own the domain, the hosting account and the code.
